ln scent recognition mode, the dogs are trained either a passive response (sit or lay down when detecting the scent) or an active response (scratch and bark at the scent).
During searches, they work on the leash with the handler, but also off leash on short distances from the handler.
Our dogs are well-accustomed to work in crowded, noisy areas and behave normally around gunfire.
They are trained to detect the following scents:
- Marihuana / Hashish
- Cocaine
- Heroin
- MDMA (XTC)
- Speed
- Methamphetamine
